Resultó elegida en una consulta popular en la que pudieron participar todos los vecinos que lo desearon

Valdemoro, 2 de abril de 2011.- Irene Tovar Lerena ha sido designada por los vecinos de Valdemoro como candidata a la Alcaldía de Valdemoro por Proyecto tud, una iniciativa ciudadana que ha cumplido un paso más en su propósito de acercar la política a los ciudadanos y hacerlos partícipes de las decisiones que se tomen en el seno de la Administración, y que contrasta con las designaciones a dedo, sin tan siquiera consultar a los militantes, de la mayoría del resto de partidos que concurren a los comicios locales.

Proyecto tud apuesta como filosofía por nuevas fórmulas y cauces de participación que hagan posible, como en este caso, la elección de candidatos en listas abiertas y votadas libremente por los vecinos.

Esta valdemoreña, de 44 años de edad, es licenciada en Ciencias Políticas y tiene una amplia experiencia de más de una década en la administración municipal, donde ha tenido responsabilidades en los ámbitos de Hacienda, Empleo o Servicios de la Ciudad entre otros.  

  

En segundo lugar ha sido designado Antonio José González Rodríguez, nacido también en Valdemoro hace 40 años. Es Ingeniero de Telecomunicaciones y actualmente ocupa un cargo directivo en una importante multinacional española de la energía.
 
   

La tercera posición la ocupará Laura Carrasco Escudero, quien con sus 27 años es la benjamina del grupo. Técnico en Emergencias y voluntaria de la Cruz Roja, Laura aporta la frescura de la juventud y su alto grado de compromiso social a Proyecto tud.

 

Perfiles formativos y profesionales que contrastan igualmente con los que presentan el resto de partidos que concurren a las próximas elecciones municipales de mayo, donde títulos universitarios, idiomas o responsabilidades directivas en empresas privadas brillan por su ausencia.
